- Senior Java Developer:
Experience: 5-8 years Description: We are looking for a senior java developer with 5-8 years of experience who is an expert in current Java/J2EE technologies. We expect you to have real hands-on experience with multi-tier commercial applications. We also expect you to have in depth knowledge about entire solutions instead of just individual cross segments of functionality. Design experience is a must as we expect you to help architect and own the solutions you work on. We're also looking for someone with a broad range of skills in other technologies as many of our solutions combine several different technologies. To this end, we're also looking for you to have 1+ years experience in at least two non-java related technologies such as javascript, php, .net, C/C++, flash, flex, swing, MFC, python, etc... Skills: * 5+ years experience developing and implementing web-based enterprise applications in a multi-tier commercial environment.
* Extensive experience in related web technologies such as web services, REST, template engines, spring, tomcat, jstl, etc...
* Proficient in Linux
* Expert understanding of XML/XSLT/XPath
* Strong understanding of database schema design and relational-object mapping technologies (Oracle and MySQL at a minimum)
* Experience in test-driven design philosophies and the Agile development process
* Enterprise level .NET experience is a plus
* Minimum 1 year experience in two or more unrelated technologies such as javascript, php, C/C++, swing, MFC, flex, flash, etc..
* Expert at debugging the entire environment, not just your own code.
- Senior Flex Developer:
Experience: 5-8 years Description: We are looking for a senior Flex developer with 5-8 years of experience who is an expert in current Flash/Flex technologies. We expect you to have real hands-on experience working on large scale commercial Flex applications. We also expect you to have in depth knowledge about entire solutions instead of just individual cross segments of functionality. Design experience is a must as we expect you to help architect and own the solutions you work on. We're also looking for someone with a broad range of skills in other technologies as many of our solutions combine several different technologies. To this end, we're also looking for you to have 1+ years experience in at least two non-Flex or Flash related technologies such as javascript, php, .net, C/C++, Java, swing, MFC, python, etc... Skills: * 5+ years experience developing and implementing RIA applications utilizing Flex and Flash in a commercial environment.
* Extensive experience creating client-server applications using web services
* Ability to develop strong application and Interactive UI design, with extensive UI development experience and a great understanding of user experience best practices
* Extensive experience implementing Flex applications that require development of custom components, modules, and RSLs
* Expert understanding of XML/XSLT/XPath
* Experience in test-driven design philosophies and the Agile development process

- Senior Web Developer:
Experience: 4-7 years Description: We are looking for Sr. Web Developer with extensive experience doing HTML programming. You would be working with a team of engineers and designers to integrate HTML code into commercial web applications. The ideal candidate should not only be able to implement web pages according to a specification, but also be able to take a vision and work independently to create a thought out and well designed user experience. Skills: * 4+ years developing web content with HTML and CSS
* Expert in solving cross-browser compatibility issues
* Ability to create user interfaces with a good knowledge of design principles and best practices
* Creative ability to make good design choices
* Ability to do basic Javascript coding
* Experience using web development tools such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver
* Experience with CMS tools such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla is a big plus
- QA Engineer:
Experience: 3-5 years Description: We are looking for experienced QA engineers with 3-5 years of experience. You will be working with a team of Engineers responsible for testing both front end and back end products, ranging from widgets and websites to desktop applications with their own SDKs and development environments. The ideal candidate will be not only be detail oriented, but also willing to share their knowledge via training and documentation with their team. This candidate is also excited to communicate with the marketing and development teams, sharing their ideas and concerns, as well as asking for clarification as the need arises Skills: * Good written and verbal communcation skills. This includes the ability to interact with both engineering and business folks via email and conference calls as well as face to face.
* Enough of a software engineering background to understand what engineering is building, enough business background to understand what the customer really wants, and the ability to combine the two to generate meaningful test cases.
* A strong desire to learn and being comfortable with the learning process. Our work ranges from embedded systems, to operating systems, to middleware, to web platforms, to gui applications. You will not know enough when you start but we will teach you.
* Experience with linux. Virtually all of engineering is on linux as is most of our infrastructure (including QA deployments).
* Some form of programming experience.
* Self-starter and proactive personality. We expect you to know your job and be proactive about getting it done. We prefer to work from high level objectives and goals. The better you are at managing your time and meeting your goals, the more freedom and responsibility you will have.
