Job description

At Kondra, project managers sit at the center of complex, technically ambitious work. We're building a next-generation distributed operating system deployed on physical hardware for a Fortune 100 client – which means our projects span firmware, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and third-party SDK partners simultaneously. You'll work alongside senior PMs, engineering leads, and external stakeholders to keep cross-functional initiatives on track, in scope, and clearly communicated at every level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience

  • 2–3 years of hands-on project management experience, ideally across multiple departments or functions

  • Proven ability to manage full project lifecycles from initiation through delivery

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to stakeholders at various levels

  • Solid organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage competing demands across concurrent projects

  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack, Teams, or similar) and both the Microsoft and Google suite

  • Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in cross-functional environments

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project delivery for mid-scale cross-functional initiatives; managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and resource schedules in coordination with team leads

  • Facilitate project meetings including kickoffs, standups, and retrospectives; ensure clear ownership of action items

  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate blockers with recommended solutions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders; provide regular status updates and executive summaries

  • Drive alignment across various teams by managing competing priorities and surfacing tradeoffs

  • Create and maintain project documentation including charters, risk logs, decision registers, and lessons learned

  • Support continuous improvement by reviewing team processes and recommending efficiencies after project close
